MANAGERS PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and the games.

Ice packs are being delivered to the Frost shed this evening, March 30.  Please make sure you have a few with you at all times.  Please do not take more than you need, as they get tossed around in the equipment bags, break, and are then unusable.  Also, if you see the supply in the shed is getting low, less than a dozen or so, please email me IMMEDIATELY so that I can restock.  Lastly, tomorrow there will be a delivery of gloves and bandages.  Please take some to put in your first aid kits.

A couple reminders as the season starts:

* Only
ONE player batting at a time, preferably at the plate or designated area away from all other players and/or pedestrians.
* ALL batters MUST
 have a helmet on, even if they are hitting wiffle balls.  (The helmet protects the player's head from being hit by balls and BATS!)
* Helmets must also remain on the player's head until he or she returns to the dugout.
* The heat is creeping up on us and it can affect a player quickly and without notice!  Be sure to inform the players (& the grown-ups) to drink plenty of water before the game or practice and bring some with them.  If they wait to drink until they are thirsty, it is to late.
* Sunscreen is also important.

  I've been out to a few games and look forward to watching many more.  GO OAK GROVE LITTLE LEAGUE!!!
